More inspiration in the Lakes
On my last visit to Aspire in the Lake District we had an intensive two days of photography under the guidance of the slightly eccentric Tamara Peel. In total we had five different portrait sessions with a variety of models including teenagers, couples and families. For some of the sessions we worked as a group with assistance from Tamara, but on the second afternoon we had two sessions where we were left to organise the shoot ourselves. We had assistance from style guru Rachel Hayton in selecting outfits for the models to wear and Tamara was always close at hand if required, but it was great to have to do some thinking for ourselves and adapt to the evolving situation, a vital skill when shooting young children. Some of the photos are below with others in the gallery, and there will be more to follow in a later post.
The first family shoot was with Andrea and her two daughters, Lily and Emma,
Then in the afternoon we photographed the Cross family, Muku, Tom and their two lovely daughters Mae and Yas, assisted by Ruby the dog. They were great to work with and there was a really wonderful relationship between the two girls,
Finally we go to shoot the beautiful Kate,
It was a fantastic two days helped by wonderful weather and the endless enthusiasm of Tamara and the models, and the wonderful organisation by Rachel. More photos to follow in the near future.
